Sources and licenses
Every source the dataset draws on, the license it is published under, and the attribution text that license requires. These strings are stored with the data, not written by hand on this page.
Key facts
The dataset draws on 4 sources, each with its license recorded alongside the data. Its current build was generated on 16 September 2026. Every ownership, naming and sponsorship row also carries the specific URL it came from, shown on the venue page.

What the licenses require
Wikidata content is released under CC0 and carries no attribution requirement, though it is credited here anyway. OpenStreetMap data is under the Open Database License: any use of it must credit OpenStreetMap contributors and keep derived databases under the same license. Wikipedia text is CC BY-SA 4.0: any reuse of the prose it supplies must credit Wikipedia and share alike. This site republishes structured facts rather than prose, and credits all three on every page footer.
What is deliberately not used
No paywalled trade publication is fetched or scraped, and no site that disallows the crawler in robots.txt is fetched. When a source blocks a request, the run logs it and continues rather than working around the block.
Reusing this data
The JSON files this site is built from are served directly: venues.json, organizations.json, venues_index.json and meta.json. The venue table also exports CSV and JSON of whatever view you have filtered to. If you reuse the data, carry the same attributions listed above.
